LANE ACCLAIM ANDRES BUS MID-CENTURY TWO PIECE HUTCH
A rarely seen Lane Acclaim two-piece china cabinet / hutch. This is the largest of sideboards available in the 1960s Lane Acclaim collection designed by Andre Bus. Like all the Acclaim pieces, this piece features oak solid framing with walnut and oak veneers and the oversized dovetail detail. The bottom sideboard has three drawers with dovetailed joints flanked by doors that open to storage with a half shelf inside. The doors feature a bowtie inlay in oak.
The top piece is a very simple design much more shallow than the bottom so as not to tower and encroach on a space, and rests on side panels allowing for ample serving space on the top of the sideboard. It is a divided shelf unit with the original sliding bypass glass doors. The shelves are permanently planted. The piece sits on four tapered round legs with quintessential Lane Acclaim ebonized black tips.

Professionally refinished and restored - a marring in the top right surface that was repaired but flaw in finish is still apparent. Otherwise structurally sound and in excellent vintage condition.
While the items we offer are in great condition, they may bear traces of their previous life and some signs of use should be expected.
