DANISH TEAK FREESTANDING WALL UNIT WITH DROP BAR
Danish teak freestanding wall unit circa 1960s with drop down bar and record cabinet. This unit comes apart in three pieces for each level, the top level featured 5 upper cabinets with doors and lower shelves with a teal colored backing. The second tier boasts a large teak bypass door with carved inset handles to reveal a pull out record or media console that pivots for easy access, the middle bay has a glass sliding doors with shelves for storage and the right bay a drop down car cabinet or desk with key. The lowest tier contains more closed door storage flanking a set of two pull out drawers. Drawers contain flatware divider and felt lining. The lower cabinets are locking as well for safe storage from children.
Record storage: The lowest tier has two sets of cabinets that measure 34W 20D and 13.5H with space to fit about at least 50 records on each side. The central bank on the second tier has glass sliding doors and a removable glass shelf, upon taking that out would be able to store more records, it measures 29W 15.5D 16H. The upper cabinets measure 11” high and the open shelves below also 11” so records would not be able to stand vertically in those spaces.
