Mid-century walnut two-piece bar cabinet / drop down desk unit manufactured by Van Pelt in Belgium. Features two pieces - a lower cabinet with two doors and adjustable shelf with maple interior, and a shallower top unit with a adjustable shelf and drop down hidden door to reveal internal storage and surface area to be used as a desk or bar (supported by a piano hinge and door slides on either side - very stable). This is an excellent piece with multiple materials - walnut, maple, and white laminate so quintessentially 70s European. Its narrow size and multi-purpose use and storage makes it all the more to appreciate.
