50TH ANNIVERSARY EAMES LOUNGE CHAIR & OTTOMAN SET

Iconic and limited edition 50th anniversary model lounge chair and ottoman originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. This specific model was produced in a limited run in 2006 in celebration of the chair’s fiftieth anniversary and retains the 50th anniversary emblem on the underside of the chair (see photos).

Also included will be a rare 1st edition hardcover book published in 2006 titled The Eames Lounge Chair: An Icon of Modern Design 

The epitome of Modernist style and luxurious comfort, this specific chair and ottoman are featured in a lesser seen cognac brown leather upholstery with tufted buttons with walnut plywood molded back shells in a satin clear lacquer finish. Upholstery material has a vulcanized fiber backing and zipper and internal cushions filled with a feather and down enveloped around a foam rubber block.

Condition

Excellent vintage condition with minor age appropriate wear. No tears, rips, major markings on upholstery, no damage or corrosion on metal frame. Walnut wood in excellent condition. Structurally sound.
